ProfoundSyntax includes accessibility-focused behavior across the public theme and Community interface. This page describes current implementation areas without claiming that every page, browser, assistive technology, or user-generated submission is free of accessibility barriers.
Keyboard Navigation
Core navigation, links, forms, buttons, account controls, Community drawers, language controls, and other standard interactive elements are intended to work without requiring a mouse. Visible keyboard focus styles are used to help identify the currently focused control.
Skip to Content
A Skip to content link is available near the beginning of the page for keyboard and screen-reader users so repeated site navigation can be bypassed.
Screen-Reader Support
ProfoundSyntax uses semantic headings, navigation landmarks, accessible names, hidden screen-reader text, live status regions, expanded/collapsed state attributes, and other ARIA information where appropriate. Dynamic Community features are designed to announce important status changes without relying only on visual cues.
Responsive Layout and Zoom
The ProfoundSyntax theme and Community interfaces are designed to reflow across phones, tablets, laptops, and wider displays. Browser zoom and text enlargement should remain usable without intentionally forcing a desktop-only layout.
Reduced Motion
Several theme and Community transitions respond to the operating system or browser prefers-reduced-motion preference. The Back to Top control avoids smooth scrolling when reduced motion is requested. The homepage decorative background-video feature also includes a site setting that can suppress that video when reduced motion is requested.
Forms and Interface States
ProfoundSyntax uses labels, button names, status messages, expanded/collapsed state information, and visible error or notice text across many account and Community interactions. Accessibility work continues as forms and interactive tools are added or revised.
Developer Content
Code blocks and technical content are kept distinct from ordinary text where practical. ProfoundSyntax translation features are designed to preserve protected code and technical strings rather than rewriting them as natural-language prose.
User-Generated Content
Member-submitted content can vary in accessibility. An uploaded image may not have a complete text alternative, a linked resource may have its own barriers, or code and formatting choices may be difficult for some assistive technologies. Please use Help to report a barrier that prevents access to important Community content or functionality.
